Designing Quiz Results People Actually Want to Share
The results page is the most important screen in a quiz. Once I started treating it that way, my organic traffic from social shares tripled. I spent two years building quizzes before I took result sharing seriously, and that was a mistake. The quiz itself gets people in the door. The results page is what gets them to bring friends. Once I started treating the results page as the most important screen in the entire experience, my organic traffic from social shares roughly tripled. Designing results that people actually want to share is a different skill from designing good quiz questions, and I had to learn it from scratch. Here is what I know now. The Shareable Result Has a Visual Identity Text-only results do not get shared. I know because my first forty quiz results were text-only and my share rate was under two percent. The moment I added a generated image card to each result. a clean, branded graphic with the result title, a short description, and the quiz logo. share rates jumped to twelve percent. People share images on social media far more readily than they share text, and a result card gives them something visually appealing to post without having to create anything themselves.
